4/10/18

The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors hosted a “cannabis ordinance status update” from County Staff. Newspapers, TV cameras, and hundreds of people attended.

During the hearing, the Board of Supervisors repeatedly commented on a desire to amend their cannabis ordinance with provisions that ensure a commercial cannabis business does not negatively impact Sonoma County neighborhoods. But such provisions never materialized in their Oct 18, 2018, amendments. After the 2018 harvest, after the 2019 harvest, and late into the 2020 harvest…we still wait for these changes to help our Sonoma neighborhoods.
